Kapil Sharma received an email saying, “We are monitoring your recent activities and believe it is crucial to bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you, and we urge you to treat this message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality.” The email was signed by 'BISHNU.'
Rajpal Yadav Receives a Similar Threat
On December 14, 2024, Rajpal Yadav also received an email from the same sender. The message threatened to kill Kapil Sharma and his team due to their association with Salman Khan’s show. Rajpal Yadav’s wife filed a complaint with the Amboli Police in Mumbai.
Police Act Quickly
The Amboli Police have filed a case under section 351 (3) of the Indian Penal Code, which deals with threats of harm. They have provided security to Kapil Sharma and his team. The police traced the IP address to Pakistan and are working with the government to contact Pakistani authorities. The sender has been given eight hours to respond or face serious consequences.
