Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Seeks Public Suggestions for City’s Development
Delhi CM Rekha Gupta urged residents to share their ideas for city's growth and emphasized that direct communication with the public strengthens democracy and ensures accountable governance.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta urged residents to share their ideas for the city's growth. She emphasized that public input would shape government policies. On Sunday morning, she visited Lodhi Garden with Cabinet Minister Parvesh Verma and other senior leaders. They invited people to suggest ideas for the upcoming Delhi budget and the broader vision of Viksit Delhi.

Government Committed to Public Expectations

Gupta assured citizens that her government would work hard to meet their expectations. She promised decisive steps to improve Delhi and enhance residents' well-being. "The Delhi government will take concrete actions to develop the city and ensure a better life for its people," she stated.

‘Chai pe Charcha’ Encourages Public Participation

As part of the outreach,CM Rekha Gupta and her team interacted with people from diverse backgrounds over ‘Chai pe Charcha’. They discussed key issues and priorities for the capital. Several senior leaders, including Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva and Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta, attended the event. Later, they joined the Spring Festival at Lodhi Garden.

BJP Stands for People-Centric Governance

During the event, Sachdeva reaffirmed the BJP's commitment to a people-first governance model. "The BJP government works for the people. Today, our Chief Minister personally met workers, discussed issues, and gathered ideas to make Delhi better," he said.

Focus on Development and Public Welfare

Later in the day, CM Gupta met Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Harsh Malhotra. They discussed key development and public welfare initiatives.

Taking to social media platform X, Gupta highlighted the importance of citizen participation. "Dedicated efforts and positive policy making for the betterment of people are the true essence of public service," she wrote. She also stressed that continuous dialogue and cooperation are crucial for making Delhi stronger and more prosperous.

She further added, "Direct communication with the public not only strengthens democracy but also makes the government more accountable and effective. Met with the people, listened to their problems, and discussed their suggestions. Your aspirations are our priority, and we are fully committed to solving your problems."
