Accident Occurs Near Lulu Mall
The accident happened on Sunday near Lulu Mall in Lucknow. The driver, Brajesh Singh, an engineer from Varanasi, hit a scooter carrying two siblings. The impact flung them into the air, but fortunately, they suffered only minor injuries.
SUV Keeps Moving Despite Police Attempts
Instead of stopping, Brajesh continued driving for 11 kilometers with the scooter trapped under his SUV. Several vehicles narrowly escaped collisions as he sped through the streets. Although police tried to stop him, he refused to slow down.
Police Finally Stop the SUV and Arrest the Driver
Eventually, the police set up barricades in Transport Nagar to stop the vehicle. Officers successfully intercepted the SUV and arrested Brajesh. Additional Inspector Balram Singh confirmed that police registered a case based on Manish Singh’s complaint, and they have sent the accused to jail.
Accused Was on His Way to Work
Meanwhile, reports reveal that Brajesh, who works in Ghaziabad, was heading to work when the crash occurred. At the same time, the victims, Manish Singh and his sister Tanu, were traveling to Telibagh on their scooter.
