IPL 2025 Showdown: Can DC Maintain Their Winning Streak Against SRH?
Delhi Capitals return after a week-long break to face Sunrisers Hyderabad, aiming to continue their winning momentum while SRH seeks redemption.

The first match of the Sunday double-header will be played between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). After a week-long break, Delhi Capitals are back in action. Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, are looking to regain momentum. It will be the 10th match of the IPL 2025 season, set to be played at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Vizag.

In their opening game, Delhi secured a thrilling win against Lucknow Super Giants. Ashutosh Sharma played a composed and crucial innings in the middle order. Moreover, KL Rahul's return strengthens their batting lineup. However, the top order must deliver a strong performance to maintain their winning momentum.

Sunrisers Look for a Comeback

Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad are eager to recover from their recent loss to Lucknow. The Super Giants exposed weaknesses in SRH’s aggressive batting approach. As a result, Delhi might adopt a similar strategy. Additionally, Mitchell Starc will count on his past experience of bowling to the Travis-Abhishek duo during the IPL 2024 knockouts.

Challenges in Bowling

However, the small boundaries at the venue make bowling a challenge. SRH struggled against Nicholas Pooran’s powerful hitting in their last game. On the other hand, Delhi still awaits an update on T Natarajan’s fitness. Despite this, Mohit Sharma and Mukesh Kumar performed well in the death overs against LSG. They successfully prevented the opposition from posting a massive total of 230-240.
