Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a special moment from his return journey to India after a three-day state visit to Sri Lanka. On his way back, he said he was blessed to witness both the Ram Setu and the Surya Tilak at Ayodhya—a rare and spiritual coincidence.
Taking to social media platform X, PM Modi posted,
"On the way back from Sri Lanka a short while ago, was blessed to have a Darshan of the Ram Setu. And, as a divine coincidence, it happened at the same time as the Surya Tilak was taking place in Ayodhya. Blessed to have the Darshan of both."He further wrote, "Prabhu Shri Ram is a uniting force for all of us. May His blessings always remain upon us."

PM Modi Concludes Sri Lanka Visit, Arrives in Rameswaram
After finishing his official tour in Sri Lanka, PM Modi landed in Tamil Nadu’s Rameswaram on Sunday. Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake saw him off at Colombo airport, marking the end of Modi’s three-day visit.
Once in Rameswaram, the Prime Minister inaugurated the New Pamban Bridge, which is India’s first vertical lift sea bridge.
Engineering Marvel: The New Pamban Bridge
The newly built bridge stretches 2.07 kilometers across the Palk Strait and stands as a symbol of India’s advanced engineering and visionary infrastructure efforts. The Ministry of Railways praised the structure, calling it a “testament to India’s engineering prowess.”
This vertical lift bridge allows both trains and ships to pass, representing a major improvement in connectivity between the Indian mainland and Rameswaram Island.
Surya Tilak at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya
While PM Modi witnessed Ram Setu from the air, a significant spiritual moment was unfolding in Ayodhya. On the occasion of Ram Navami, the temple at Ram Janmabhoomi experienced the long-awaited Surya Tilak on the idol of Ram Lalla.
At exactly noon, a beam of sunlight hit the forehead of Ram Lalla, forming a divine tilak. Priests conducted prayers during this rare event, and visuals showed devotees offering their respects in the temple.
Ram Setu: A Sacred Link Between India and Sri Lanka
Ram Setu, also called Adam’s Bridge, is a 48-kilometer-long chain of limestone shoals. It connects Rameswaram in India to Mannar Island in Sri Lanka. The formation is not only a geographical marvel but also holds deep religious value.
According to the Ramayana, this was the bridge built by Lord Ram and his army of vanaras to cross into Lanka and rescue his wife, Sita. For many Hindus, it symbolizes faith, devotion, and the power of unity.
