Delhi's Confident Start

Rahul lifts DC’s scoring rate
Rahul went after Siraj in the third over, hitting a four and a six. Nair followed with a six. DC stood strong at 41/1 after three overs. In the next over, Rahul smacked two boundaries, taking DC past the 50-run mark. Prasidh Krishna bowled the fifth over. Rahul hit a four but fell on the fourth ball for 28 off 14. Axar Patel came in and got off the mark with a single. DC stood at 59/2 after five overs. Nair added a four and a six in the sixth over, taking DC to 73/2 in the powerplay.
GT keep striking at regular intervals
Prasidh bowled the seventh over, where Axar managed a boundary. Rashid Khan followed up with a tidy eighth over. Then, Krishna struck again in the ninth over, dismissing Nair for 31 off 18. Tristan Stubbs walked in and started with a boundary. DC reached 100/3 after nine overs. Rashid Khan bowled another tight over, conceding only five runs. At the halfway mark, DC stood at 105/3. Axar was on 15 (14), while Stubbs had 7 (5).
Middle overs bring momentum
Ishant Sharma joined the attack and gave away just six runs in the 11th over. Axar hit a six off Rashid in the 12th over. In the next two overs, Stubbs and Axar added big hits, taking DC to 150/4 in 15 overs. Siraj removed Stubbs for 21. Ashutosh Sharma walked in next. Ashutosh ended the 16th over with a four and a six. Siraj returned, and Ashutosh again ended the over with a boundary. DC moved to 173/4.
Final Overs and power-hitting
Prasidh Krishna dismissed Axar on the first ball and Vipraj Nigam on the next. Axar scored 39 off 32. Donovan Ferreira joined Ashutosh, who responded with back-to-back sixes. DC reached 188/6 after 18 overs.
Ishant removed Ferreira in the 19th. DC climbed to 194/7. In the final over, Sai Kishore dismissed Ashutosh, who made 37 off 19. Kuldeep Yadav hit a boundary on the final ball, pushing DC to 203/8 in 20 overs.
GT's Chase Starts on a Strong Note

Jos Buttler walked in and got going with a boundary. GT reached 18/1 after 2 overs. Sudharshan hit back-to-back boundaries in the third over. Buttler added a six and a four in the fourth over. GT accelerated to 41/1.
Buttler leads from the front
Buttler smashed two sixes in the fifth over from Nigam. GT crossed 50 runs in that over. In the sixth over, Sudharshan added back-to-back boundaries and brought up the 50-run partnership. GT stood at 67/1 at the end of the powerplay.
Axar bowled a tight seventh over. Kuldeep Yadav struck in the eighth, removing Sudharshan for 36. Rutherford joined Buttler. GT reached 85/2 after nine overs. Rutherford hit a boundary in the 10th over. GT scored 94/2 at the halfway mark.
Buttler and Rutherford take charge

Buttler added a boundary and completed his fifty in 32 balls. Their partnership reached 50. GT stood at 128/2. Comfortable finish for GT
