Player of the Match: Jos Buttler

Delhi Capitals have some issues in both their batting and bowling line-ups. They need to resolve them before it gets too late. Abhishek Porel, Karun Nair, KL Rahul, and Tristan Stubbs started well but failed to capitalize on their starts. Axar Patel stayed at the crease for a while, but someone needed to play a long innings to maintain a high scoring rate. Ashutosh Sharma played a blazing knock, but by then, Delhi was already struggling with wickets. The Capitals ended up 20–30 runs short on this pitch. Gujarat looked like a more balanced side in this match. Prasidh Krishna bowled exceptionally well.

When Gujarat came out to chase, Sai Sudharsan gave a solid start. Although Gill failed with the bat today, Buttler’s explosive knock and his partnership with Rutherford made things easy for Gujarat. Although Gujarat Titans won the match, one man—Karun Nair—cannot be ignored. He was hitting the ball cleanly to the fence. His form and class have made him one of the most dangerous players this IPL season. Stay tuned with JUSZNEWS for regular updates!
