Emily in Paris is set to return for its fifth season on Netflix. Lily Collins (Emily Cooper), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie Grateau), Ashley Park (Mindy Chen), and Lucas Bravo (Gabriel) will reprise their roles. However, Camille Razat, who played Camille, will not be part of this season.

Lucas Bravo's return as Gabriel comes as a surprise. Earlier, he had expressed frustration with his character's direction. He said, “I want to see if Gabriel gets back to his fun, cheeky, playful, alive self. Because three seasons playing melancholic, sad, depressed and lost is not fun anymore.”

Season 4's Cliffhanger

The season four finale left Emily with a major decision: to lead the new Agence Grateau office in Rome or stay in Paris with Gabriel. Creator Darren Star confirmed, “She’s not leaving Paris,” but Emily will spend time in both cities.

Production Details

Filming for season five will begin in May. It will start in Rome before moving to Paris. The new season is set to premiere later this year.
