Details of the Jaipur Accident
According to India Today, the accident took place in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Monday night. A woman, reportedly driving under the influence of alcohol, crashed her car into a motorbike carrying three people. The impact led to the death of a 14-year-old girl, while two others were injured. The injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.
Janhvi’s Past Reaction to a Similar Tragedy
This is not the first time Janhvi Kapoor has spoken out about drunk driving. Just last month, she commented on another road mishap that occurred in Vadodara, Gujarat. In that incident, a 20-year-old law student, allegedly speeding and intoxicated, drove into a group of people on two-wheelers. One woman died on the spot and four others were injured. Reacting to that incident, Janhvi wrote, “This is appalling and enraging. Sick to my stomach about anyone thinking this kind of behaviour is something they can get away with. Intoxicated or not.”

On the work front, Janhvi will next appear in Param Sundari, alongside Sidharth Malhotra. The romantic comedy tells the story of a man from North India and a woman from South India who fall in love despite their cultural differences.
