In a shocking revelation, a woman named as "Mia" to protect her identity, gave a painful testimony in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal racketeering and sex trafficking trial. She revealed years of abuse while working as his personal assistant from 2009 to 2017.
Years of Abuse and Exploitation
Mia said she faced emotional and physical abuse throughout her job. She described repeated sexual assaults. Her story matches earlier claims by celebrity stylist Deonte Nash and singer Cassie Ventura, Combs’ former girlfriend. Both have made similar allegations.
“It Went From Dream Job to a Nightmare”
At first, Mia thought the job was a great opportunity. However, soon she endured harsh treatment. She said Combs made her work without breaks, including one time when she stayed awake for five days straight. He often yelled at her. He called her “incompetent” and “a worthless piece of crap,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Multiple Sexual Assaults Alleged
Mia described several assaults. For example, at Combs’ 40th birthday party, he forced her to drink vodka. Then, he put his hand up her dress. On another night, she woke to find Combs on top of her in a bunk bed. Even though she said “no,” the assault happened quickly.
Denied Privacy and Underpaid
Mia lived in Combs’ house but could not lock her bedroom door. In contrast, male security staff had this right. Combs said, “This is my house and no one locks the doors.” Mia was promised a salary of $55,000 per year but said she never earned more than $50,000. Moreover, stress and exhaustion affected her health. She experienced hearing loss, blurry vision, and a breakdown. Only after this was she allowed to rest.
Witness to Violence Against Cassie Ventura
Mia confirmed violent behavior towards Cassie Ventura. She recalled Combs throwing Cassie into a bed frame, causing a deep cut on her forehead. “It was so fast, but I felt like I was in slow motion,” Mia said. “She had a pretty big scar... blood was coming out.” Furthermore, Mia described an incident at a Beverly Hills party hosted by Prince. Combs attacked Cassie in public, and Prince’s security had to intervene. After this event, Mia was suspended without pay.
“I Have to Tell the Truth”
When asked why she testified despite the pain, Mia said through tears, “Because I have to tell the truth, the whole truth.” Prosecutors said they might finish their case sooner than expected. Meanwhile, Combs’ defense team asked to meet him late into the night to prepare. For now, Combs remains in a Brooklyn detention center as the trial continues.
