Water Tank Burst on Ram Charan’s Film ‘The India House’ Set Injures Crew, Halts Shoot
A water tank burst during the shoot of The India House, injuring crew members and halting production.

A major accident disrupted the filming of 'The India House', a movie produced by Tollywood star Ram Charan. The incident occurred near Shamshabad, Hyderabad, during a high-intensity action scene involving water.

Water Tank Explosion Creates Panic

During the shoot, a large water tank installed to simulate ocean scenes suddenly burst. As a result, thousands of litres of water rushed across the set. The sudden flood swept away several crew members, including an assistant cinematographer, causing injuries.

Moreover, the force of the water damaged important filming equipment. Cameras, lights, and props were at risk. A viral video shows panicked crew members scrambling to save gear from the gushing water.

Immediate Medical Help

Immediately after the accident, emergency responders took the injured to a private hospital in Hyderabad. So far, reports confirm that the injured are being treated and are stable.

Consequently, the team halted the shoot. They also launched an internal investigation to understand what caused the tank to burst. Authorities are checking if safety rules were followed during the shoot.

Anticipated Film Project

Meanwhile, The India House remains one of the most awaited films of the year. It is set in pre-independence India. The film stars Nikhil Siddhartha and Saiee Manjrekar in lead roles.

Furthermore, veteran actor Anupam Kher will also play an important role. Director Ram Vamsi Krishna is helming the project, while Vikram Reddy and Abhishek Agrawal are co-producing it alongside Ram Charan’s production house.
