NFL star Travis Kelce recently shared his personal challenges and relationship experiences in a new interview. Speaking on the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast, Kelce opened up about his insecurities with reading and what it’s like to date a global superstar like Taylor Swift.
Kelce Struggled With Reading at SNL
To begin with, Kelce recalled his time hosting Saturday Night Live in March 2023. He admitted that reading during rehearsals wasn’t easy.
“The table reading, for a guy that can’t really read that well, it was kind of a f–ked situation,” he said.
Moreover, he explained that instead of focusing on acting, he was mainly trying not to mess up his lines. “Like, I was just focused on, ‘Don’t f–king skip this line,’ you know what I mean? I’m more of an audio guy,” Kelce added.
Nevertheless, he remained committed to doing well. “I want to make them respect my approach and how I’m, like, taking it serious. I didn’t want to look like a loser,” he said.
Life With Taylor Swift Brings Constant Attention
Next, Kelce talked about his relationship with Taylor Swift, whom he has been dating since 2023. He said the media attention took him by surprise. “That’s probably the only thing I didn’t really grasp until you’re in it,” he explained. “That’s probably the craziest thing.”
For instance, he described an awkward moment on the golf course. “Like, I’m just playing golf and all of the sudden in the trees there’s just a f–king guy with a camera. Like, ah s–t. I gotta go to the restroom now. I can’t just go over here and take a piss,” he said with a laugh. “Just don’t want my meat on Page Six, know what I mean?” he joked.

Kelce Dismisses Publicity Claims
Meanwhile, the couple has faced criticism for being too public with their relationship. Some believe they seek attention. However, Kelce shut down those claims. “We’re having fun with it, being a couple. … We’re just enjoying life and having fun,” he said.
