Wimbledon 2025: Carlos Alcaraz Advances to Fourth Round with Solid Win Over Struff
Carlos Alcaraz pushed into Wimbledon’s fourth round after a confident four-set win over Jan-Lennard Struff.

Carlos Alcaraz continued his impressive run at Wimbledon 2025 by defeating Germany’s Jan-Lennard Struff in four sets on Friday. He won the match 6-1, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 on Centre Court, securing a place in the fourth round.

Alcaraz Extends Winning Streak

With this victory, the Spanish star has now won 21 matches in a row overall and 17 straight at Wimbledon. Alcaraz has also claimed the Wimbledon title twice in a row and is aiming for a third consecutive crown this year.

Minor Setback, Quick Recovery

Although Struff managed to take the second set, Alcaraz quickly regained control. He broke Struff early in the third set and dominated his own service games, losing just four points on serve in that set.

Sealed the Match in Fourth

Struff continued to fight hard, but Alcaraz broke his serve at 4-4 in the fourth set. The 21-year-old Spaniard then comfortably served out the match to seal the win.

Alcaraz, who already has five Grand Slam titles, remains one of the top favourites to win Wimbledon again this year.
