Triptii Dimri Calls Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit a ‘Beautiful Film’
Triptii Dimri praised Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Spirit as a “beautiful film” while expressing excitement about her future projects.

Triptii Dimri is gearing up for the release of her new romantic drama, Dhadak 2, alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi. The film will hit theatres this August. Currently, both actors are actively promoting the film.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Triptii discussed Dhadak 2 and shared her experience of working on another big project, Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Interestingly, she has replaced Deepika Padukone in this film.

Working with Different Directors

Triptii reflected on her career journey and shared how working with various filmmakers has helped her grow. She said, “Yeah, it’s good to work with different directors, because you learn so much. Every filmmaker brings their own sensibility, their own energy to a project, and that automatically pushes you to adapt and grow.”

She also mentioned her excitement about her upcoming projects. “I’ve just been working with Vishal, and that film is also going to come out soon, so I’m quite excited about that. After that, of course, comes Mr. Vanga’s Spirit, and I’m really excited about it," she said.

Triptii Praises Spirit

Although details of Spirit remain secret, Triptii shared her feelings about the film. “It’s a beautiful film,” she said. Spirit will feature Prabhas as a fierce police officer and will mark Triptii’s first pairing with him. This movie will also be her second collaboration with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and producers Bhushan Kumar and Pranay Reddy Vanga after working together in Animal. Produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, Spirit is expected to begin filming in 2025.

Dhadak 2 Explores Real-Life Issues

Dhadak 2 is not a typical Bollywood love story. Instead, the film addresses deep social issues like casteism, identity, and the struggles of forbidden love. The movie promises to highlight how discrimination and power struggles impact personal relationships.

Triptii plays an emotionally intense role in Dhadak 2, representing real-world challenges faced by many people. This gives audiences a thoughtful and realistic viewing experience.

Produced by Karan Johar, Umesh Kumar Bansal, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Meenu Aroraa, Somen Mishra, and Pragati Deshmukh, and directed by Shazia Iqbal, the film will release in cinemas on August 1.
