India Women Face Australia in Three-Match ODI Series Ahead of World Cup
India Women will face Australia in a three-match ODI series starting September 14, serving as their final preparation for the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025.

India Women will play a three-match ODI series against Australia starting Sunday, September 14. The ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 is approaching. Meanwhile, teams are sharpening their skills ahead of the tournament in India and Sri Lanka. This series will serve as the final preparation before the World Cup.

Key Players and Leadership

Harmanpreet Kaur will lead India. Smriti Mandhana will serve as vice-captain. Together, they will guide the team in the series and the World Cup. India aims to win its first ICC trophy.

Australia included uncapped spinner Charli Knott as backup for Sophie Molineux. Meanwhile, Molineux will return directly for the World Cup after injury. Wicketkeeper Nicole Faltum is also in the squad.

Series as Final Test Before World Cup

Harmanpreet Kaur said, “This series against Australia will be a great test before the World Cup. We are focused on building combinations and understanding conditions.”
