Chirag Paswan Says NDA Will Return to Power in Bihar
Chirag Paswan attacked the Mahagathbandhan for failing to decide on seat-sharing and said the NDA would form the Bihar government on November 14.

Union Minister Chirag Paswan launched a sharp attack on the Mahagathbandhan alliance just days before the Bihar elections. He mocked the opposition for delaying their seat-sharing decision.

Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) is contesting 29 seats. He said the NDA would form the new Bihar government on November 14.

“There is so much going on in their alliance (Mahagathbandhan), and where is Rahul Gandhi? Was it not the moral responsibility of Rahul ji and Tejashwi Yadav to sit together and clear bottlenecks in the alliance? This shows a lack of seriousness on the part of Congress. No matter what they do, the reality is that after November 14, the NDA will form the government in Bihar," Paswan told ANI.

He said people no longer trust the Mahagathbandhan. “The people of Bihar have understood that if the Mahagathbandhan cannot keep together the five parties in an alliance, then they will not be able to keep Bihar united," he added.

NDA’s Unity Sends Positive Signal

Paswan praised the NDA for announcing its seat-sharing plan on time. He said the move sent a strong and positive message to voters.

“The atmosphere is one-sided, and we will perform better than our expectations. NDA completed the seat sharing on time, which has sent a very positive message. As the Mahagathbandhan is unable to keep its flock together, we are expected to win more seats. The leaders of NDA will celebrate Diwali again on 14 November," he said.

Paswan Promises Bihar’s Transformation

Paswan said the NDA would focus on health, education, and industry if voted to power. He promised to transform Bihar in the next five years.

“Our Prime Minister and Chief Minister have a vision of how we can empower each individual in society, and with that vision, we are working to move forward. We’re going to write a golden history in the next five years. For the next five years, we’ll work to transform Bihar from industrialisation to better education and health, so that no Bihari has to leave Bihar. We’re working in this direction… I won’t rest until I make Bihar first and Biharis first," he said.

Tejashwi Yadav to Be Mahagathbandhan’s CM Face

Meanwhile, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav will likely be announced as the Mahagathbandhan’s Chief Ministerial candidate on Thursday.

Yadav, who is meeting Congress leader Ashok Gehlot, dismissed reports of rifts in the alliance. “There are no disputes. You will get all the answers tomorrow," he told reporters.
