Pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have officially confirmed their relationship. The couple made their first public appearance together in Paris on Sunday, marking Katy’s 41st birthday.
According to TMZ, the two were seen enjoying a night out at the famous Crazy Horse Paris cabaret. As they left the venue, both looked cheerful and were spotted holding hands. Fans and paparazzi gathered outside, thrilled to see the pair together for the first time.
One fan even handed Katy a rose and wished her a happy birthday. Trudeau, dressed in a classic black suit, escorted her to their car, while Katy stunned in a striking red dress.

Romance Rumors Come True
Rumors about their relationship had been circulating for weeks. Photos shared by The Daily Mail earlier showed Katy and Trudeau relaxing on her yacht near Santa Barbara.
In the pictures, the “Firework” singer wore a black swimsuit, while Trudeau appeared shirtless in jeans. The two were seen embracing and kissing on the deck, enjoying the calm sea breeze.
A witness told the outlet, “She pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, then they started making out. I didn’t realise who she was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy’s arm and I immediately realised it was Justin Trudeau."
Neither Perry nor Trudeau had spoken publicly about the rumors until their Paris outing.

From Secret Dinners to Public Dates
The pair was first linked in July when they were spotted having dinner in Montreal. Shortly after, Trudeau attended Perry’s concert during her Lifetimes tour in Canada.
During a later concert in London, Perry hinted at a new relationship. When a fan jokingly proposed on stage, she said, “I wish you’d asked me 48 hours ago." The crowd erupted as she added, “London, England, you’re like this on a Monday night after a whole day at work and a whole day at school? No wonder I fall for Englishmen all the time… but not anymore."
Her comment left fans speculating she was referring to Trudeau.
Katy and Orlando Bloom’s Breakup
Before dating Trudeau, Katy Perry was in a long-term relationship with actor Orlando Bloom. The two began dating in 2016 and got engaged in 2019. They share a daughter, Daisy Dove.

The statement added, “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is – and always will be – raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect."
