Afghanistan outclassed Zimbabwe by 7 wickets in the second T20I of the three-match series in Harare. After being put in to bat, Zimbabwe managed to score 125 in 19.3 overs. Mujeeb Ur Rahman (2/26 in 4 overs) gave early blows to Zimbabwe, while a destructive spell from Rashid Khan (3/9 in 3 overs) demolished the lower order. Captain Sikandar Raza played a useful knock of 32 runs and remained the highest scorer for Zimbabwe. Abdullah Ahmadzai took two wickets, while Fareed Ahmad and Mohammad Nabi claimed one wicket each.
While chasing the modest target, Afghanistan lost a few wickets but reached the target with 12 balls to spare. Ibrahim Zadran struck a blazing half-century and remained unbeaten till the end. With this victory, Afghanistan sealed the series 2-0.

Afghanistan came back strongly after losing the one-off Test against Zimbabwe. After winning the first T20I, Afghanistan repeated their efforts in the second T20I. Mujeeb Ur Rahman gave early blows to Zimbabwe, and Rashid Khan demolished the lower order, restricting them to under 150. Ibrahim Zadran played a beautiful knock and ensured Afghanistan’s victory. For Zimbabwe, Sikandar Raza once again played a captain’s knock, taking the team to a competitive total. Brad Evans tried his best with the ball, but there were not enough runs on the board. Still, Zimbabwe’s bowlers fought hard and took the match to the 18th over. Despite their efforts, Zimbabwe fell short of runs in the end.
