AIFF Super Cup 2025-26: Jamshedpur Finish Strong with Convincing Win Against Inter Kashi
Jamshedpur FC ended their Super Cup campaign with a confident 2-0 win over Inter Kashi, finishing their group stage on a positive note after a tough season.

Jamshedpur FC wrapped up their AIFF Super Cup 2025-26 journey with a 2-0 victory against Inter Kashi at the GMC Stadium in Bambolim, Goa, on Saturday. Raphaël Messi Bouli scored in the 37th minute, while Manvir Singh sealed the result late in the second half.

Though both teams were already out of the semi-final race, the win gave Jamshedpur a much-needed boost after a disappointing campaign. The two-time semi-finalists and last year’s runners-up had failed to find form under new head coach Steven Dias. But on Saturday, they showed hunger and control from start to finish.

Bouli Leads from the Front

From the opening whistle, Jamshedpur looked more determined. They pressed high and dominated possession. Bouli was the biggest threat down the left wing, combining well with Vincy Barretto and Mohammed Sanan. His pace and power kept Inter Kashi’s defence under constant pressure.

The breakthrough came in the 37th minute. Nikola Stojanović delivered a curling corner that deflected off Pronay Halder and looped inside the box. Bouli reacted quickly, rising above his marker to head the ball past Shubham Das.

Inter Kashi Struggle to Respond

Inter Kashi couldn’t build momentum. Their midfield was often overpowered, and their forwards failed to connect effectively. David Muñoz tried to push forward, but Jamshedpur’s organised defence and aggressive pressing kept him quiet.

The second half followed a similar pattern. Stojanović continued to dictate play from midfield, spreading passes and controlling the tempo. Inter Kashi had two chances through Muñoz’s free-kicks in the 62nd and 72nd minutes, but goalkeeper Albino Gomes made sharp saves both times.

Manvir Singh Seals the Result

Jamshedpur stayed on top, creating more chances. Bouli nearly doubled his tally in the 69th minute, but Das came off his line to block. However, the Red Miners didn’t have to wait long for their second goal. In the 81st minute, Bouli set up Manvir Singh, who struck a precise right-footed shot into the bottom corner.

With a 2-0 lead, Jamshedpur comfortably saw out the final moments. The win may not have changed their position in the group, but it restored belief and pride after a challenging season.
