Actor Arjun Rampal has officially confirmed his engagement to longtime partner Gabriella Demetriades. The couple, who have been together for six years and share two sons, revealed the news during an appearance on Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast.
In the teaser released on Saturday, Gabriella spoke about their relationship status and said, “We’re not married now, but who knows?”. Arjun immediately followed with, “But we are engaged!”, leaving Rhea visibly surprised. Arjun then added, “We just broke it on your show.”

During the conversation, the couple looked back at how their relationship began. Gabriella said she had not approached Arjun because of his looks and hoped he had not done the same.
Arjun responded with humour and honesty, saying he initially pursued her because she was attractive. “No, no. I went after her because she was hot, then I realised there is a little more to it than just the hotness,” he said.

Gabriella also shared how becoming a mother changed her understanding of love. She explained that love between adults often comes with expectations, unlike the unconditional bond with a child.
“Your love comes with conditions, it’s like if a person behaves this way, then get my approval or love. But when you have a child, you can’t do that, right?” she said.

Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades met through mutual friends in 2018 and started dating a few months later. They welcomed their first son, Arik, in 2019. The couple welcomed their second son in July 2023.
Arjun was previously married to Mehr Jesia. He shares two daughters, Mahikaa Rampal and Myra Rampal, with his former wife.
