Iran Says No End to War Without Full Damage Compensation
Iran says it will continue the war until sanctions are lifted and compensation is paid, while rejecting US claims of ongoing negotiations.

Mohsen Rezaei said Iran will not stop the war until it receives compensation for the damage caused over the past three weeks. He spoke in a televised address on Monday, shortly after US President Donald Trump announced a temporary ceasefire pause.

Rezaei said Iran will keep fighting until “all economic sanctions are lifted, and legally binding international guarantees are obtained to prevent US interference in Iran.”

He added, “We see that our armed forces are carrying out operations and activities with strength. Our leadership project, with the selection of a new leader, has firmly come under his management.”

Iran Blames Israel for Continuing War

Rezaei said the war had “effectively over” more than a week ago. He claimed the United States was ready to move toward a ceasefire. However, he blamed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for “pushing to continue”.

Trump Claims Progress in Talks

Donald Trump said the US held talks with Iran. He described them as “very good and productive”. He said the talks aimed at a “complete and total resolution of hostilities in the Middle East”.

Trump also delayed planned strikes on Iran’s energy infrastructure for five days. Trump said his envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner spoke with a senior Iranian official. He said the discussions would continue.

“We have had very, very strong talks. We’ll see where they lead. We have major points of agreement, I would say, almost all points of agreement,” he said before leaving Florida.

Later, he said the talks could lead to a deal. He added, “I think it could very well end up being a good deal for everybody.”

Iran Rejects US Claims

Iran denied all claims of talksMohammad Baqer Qalibaf said, “No negotiations have been held with the US, and fake news is used to manipulate the financial and oil markets and escape the quagmire in which the US and Israel are trapped.”

He added, “Iranian people demand complete and remorseful punishment of the aggressors. All Iranian officials stand firmly behind their supreme leader and people until this goal is achieved.”

Tensions Remain High

Both sides continue to give conflicting statements. The US signals progress. Iran denies any talks and sets strict conditions. The conflict remains tense with no clear path to resolution.
