OTT Guide: Biggest Releases Including the Boys Final Season and Hacks Season 5

  After giving a strong debut performance in One Battle After Another, Chase Infiniti now takes a big step forward as she leads her first television series, The Testaments. The show will premiere on JioHotstar on April 8. Notably, it serves as a prequel and takes place 15 years after the events of The Handmaid’s Tale.Meanwhile, fans of Schitt’s Creek can look forward to something new. Co-creator Dan Levy returns with a comedy series, set to premiere on Netflix on April 9. He shares the screen with Taylor Ortega and Laurie Metcalf. The show follows two siblings who are forced into the risky world of organised crime after being blackmailed.

Movies You Can’t Miss This Week

Jonah Hill directs Outcome, starring Keanu Reeves as a troubled Hollywood actor trying to fix his past after a blackmail threat. The film releases on Apple TV on April 10.Meanwhile, Netflix brings the survival thriller Thrash on the same day, featuring Phoebe Dynevor, Whitney Peak, Alyla Browne, and Djimon Hounsou. The story follows people trapped in shark-filled waters after a deadly hurricane hits their town.

Additionally, the Malcolm in the Middle cast reunites for Life’s Still Unfair, a four-part special streaming on JioHotstar on April 10.

The Boys Season 5

Tu Yaa Main

Where to watch: Netflix Release date: April 10 Next, Bejoy Nambiar directs Tu Yaa Main, a Hindi survival thriller starring Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor. In the film, they play two social media influencers who get trapped in a swimming pool with a crocodile. Moreover, the film adapts the Thai movie The Pool (2018) and includes many intense twists as the characters struggle to survive. Notably, the film first released in theatres on February 3, 2026.

Hacks Season 5

Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) and Ava (Hannah Einbinder) head back to Las Vegas and spread a false rumour about Deborah’s death. O'Romeo

Where to watch: Amazon Prime Video Release date: April 10 Finally, O'Romeo, inspired by the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai, stars Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri. The film presents a unique love story with Shakespearean elements. Earlier, the makers released it in theatres on February 13 for Valentine’s Day. Along with the lead cast, the film also features Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Tamannaah Bhatia, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, and Vikrant Massey.
