Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei warned that Gulf nations would no longer protect American military bases in the Middle East. In a statement shared on his Telegram channel, he said the United States would soon lose every safe haven in the region. His remarks came while Tehran and Washington continued talks to end their three-month-long conflict.

During the recent conflict, Iran attacked several US military bases across the Middle East. The 58-year-old leader released the message in written form because he has not appeared publicly since March 8. Iranian officials have continued sharing his statements through written messages and video meetings.

At the same time, reports about Khamenei’s health have triggered speculation. Several reports claimed that he suffered a serious leg injury. Despite this, he reportedly continues to hold meetings with senior Iranian officials through video conferencing from an undisclosed location.

Khamenei issued the statement only hours after the US military launched strikes in southern Iran. Reports said the attacks targeted missile facilities and boats that were allegedly trying to place naval mines. In response, Khamenei praised Iran’s armed forces. He again called the United States the “Great Satan” and described Israel as “its trained beast.”

Warning To Gulf Nations

Khamenei claimed that Israel was entering its “final phase.” He also said the country “will cease to exist within the next 25 years.”

He warned regional nations against helping the United States militarily.

He stated, “Iran is sending a clear message to neighboring nations such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar that if they permit the American military bases located within their territories to be used against Iran, Iran will show them no mercy.”

Khamenei also claimed that America’s influence in the Middle East was fading quickly. According to him, the era of US dominance in the region had ended permanently.

‘The Wheel Of Time Does Not Turn Backward’

To explain his point, Khamenei used the example of a wheel. He said history never moves backward. He also claimed that American influence in the Middle East would eventually disappear forever.

In his written statement, he said the United States would no longer have “any haven for mischief” in the region.

He wrote, “The wheel of time does not turn backwards; the nations and territories of this region will no longer serve as shields for American military bases.”

He further added, “The United States will no longer find a safe haven in this region to carry out its acts of mischief or to establish military bases.”

Praises Iranian Armed Forces

Khamenei praised Iran’s military actions against the US and Israel. He again referred to America as the “Great Satan” and Israel as “its tamed beast.”

He wrote, “Relying upon God, our brave Mujahideen and self-sacrificing armed forces unleashed their weaponry missiles and drones across land, air, and sea against the 'Great Satan' (the United States) and its tamed beast, the Zionist regime. In doing so, they witnessed with their own eyes the fulfillment of God's true promise the promise of victory He made to those warriors who struggle upon His path.”
