Ajit Doval Raises Concerns Over Pakistan-Backed Terrorism at Moscow Forum
India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval strongly raised the issue of Pakistan-backed terrorism at the Moscow security forum and reaffirmed India’s strategic partnership with Russia.

India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval strongly raised concerns over terrorism and regional security during the 14th Meeting of High Representatives for Security Matters in Moscow. He addressed global security officials at the International Security Forum, which focused on security challenges in a changing multipolar world.

Doval also reaffirmed the strong strategic partnership between India and Russia.

Doval Raises Pahalgam Terror Attack

Ajit Doval highlighted the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where Pakistan-backed terrorists killed 26 tourists. He thanked the Russian government for immediately condemning the attack and supporting India. Doval specifically expressed gratitude to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu.

He said the India-Russia partnership remains a key source of stability during global uncertainty. Doval also assured the forum that both countries will continue working together against terrorism.

‘No Double Standards’ On Terrorism

Doval strongly criticised countries that support or shelter terrorists. “There can be no double standards in the fight against terrorism,” he said.

“The international community must look past geopolitical convenience. Countries must make a clear choice: either actively support global counter-terror efforts or be recognised as defenders of those who sponsor and harbour terrorists,” he added.

Concerns Over Maritime Security

Doval also spoke about growing threats to important global shipping routes. He expressed concern over rising instability in the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea.

According to Doval, countries must work together to protect these critical maritime routes because they are essential for global trade and energy security.

Putin To Attend BRICS Summit in India

On the sidelines of the summit, Doval shared a major diplomatic update. He said he was “happy to know” that President Vladimir Putin will personally visit India for the upcoming BRICS Summit.
