Israel Launches Fresh Strikes in Southern Lebanon
Israeli airstrikes hit Gaza’s al-Mawasi, labeled a “safe zone.” The attack killed at least 20 people, including women and children, and injured many others. Medical sources reported that some victims were “incinerated” in the assault. The bombing specifically targeted tents sheltering 14 Palestinian families.

Airstrikes in Southern Lebanon Persist

Israeli forces continued bombing southern Lebanon despite a ceasefire with Hezbollah. One raid hit Majdal Zoun, which Israel claimed was a launch site. Since the conflict’s escalation, Israeli strikes in Lebanon have killed 4,047 people and wounded 16,638 others.

Heavy Casualties in Gaza

The situation in Gaza worsens daily. Israeli bombings have killed at least 44,532 Palestinians and injured 105,538 since October 7, 2023. Meanwhile, Hamas-led attacks in Israel killed 1,139 people and captured over 200 on the same day.

Amnesty International Accuses Israel

Amnesty International accused Israel of genocide in Gaza. The group stated that Israel’s military actions align with three acts outlawed by the 1948 Genocide Convention. These allegations have drawn international attention.

Violence Escalates in the West Bank

Israeli forces raided Beit Furik in the occupied West Bank. Additionally, settlers set fire to Palestinian homes and cars, further escalating tensions on Wednesday.

Ceasefire Violations Raise Concerns

Three more Israeli raids in southern Lebanon are reported. These actions violated the recent ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah and heightened fears of broader conflict.

UNGA Calls for Immediate Action

Philemon Yang, president of the UN General Assembly, urged the assembly to act decisively. He emphasized that the UN Security Council remains paralyzed in resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
