India Lights Up the Night in Stunning ISS Image from Space
The ISS shared stunning night-time photos of Earth, with India’s glowing city lights capturing social media’s attention.

The International Space Station (ISS) recently shared breathtaking images of Earth on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter. Among the photos, one striking image of India lit up at night attracted special attention.

India Glows in the Dark

In its post, the ISS showcased four pictures that captured the beauty of Earth's nightscape. The images featured dazzling city lights beneath a sky full of stars and a glowing atmosphere stretching across the planet’s horizon. The post quickly caught users’ attention. It received over 100,000 views, nearly 2,000 likes, and more than 300 reposts. Many users were amazed by the view and shared their thoughts in the comments.

One person called it “Simply stunning,” and described Earth as an “amazing rock.” Another thanked the ISS for sharing the visuals, calling it a beautiful experience. A different user expressed sadness over how humanity often damages the planet, despite its natural beauty.
