Mumbai Police have filed an FIR against actor Ajaz Khan, producer Rajkumar Pandey, and others. The case involves their web show House Arrest, which streamed on the Ullu app.

NCW Summons Khan and Ullu App CEO

At the same time, the National Commission for Women (NCW) took notice of the show. It strongly condemned the content. The Commission accused the makers of showing “coercive and vulgar” scenes involving women.

As a result, the NCW has summoned actor Ajaz Khan and Ullu CEO Vibhu Agarwal. They must appear before the panel on May 9.

Viral Video Clip Fuels Outrage

A short video clip from the show, dated April 29, went viral. In the video, Khan pressures women contestants to perform intimate acts. The women appear visibly uncomfortable and refuse, but he continues to push them.

Consequently, the clip sparked widespread outrage on social media. Many political leaders and internet users expressed anger and demanded strict action.

Ullu App Removes the Show

Following the backlash, Ullu removed House Arrest from its platform. On Friday, a search for the show returned no results. The app now displays the message: “Your search for ‘House Arrest’ did not find any matches.”

Overall, the controversy led to strong public reactions and legal actions. Authorities continue to investigate the matter.
