In addition to the military targets, Israeli strikes also hit residential areas in Tehran. As a result, several children reportedly died. This sparked public anger and calls for immediate retaliation.
Explosions Reported at Natanz Facility
At the same time, witnesses and Iranian media confirmed blasts near the Natanz nuclear site. This is Iran’s main uranium enrichment facility. Although Iran admitted damage, it claimed “most of the damage is on the surface level,” and said there were “no casualties” at the facility.
Netanyahu Justifies Operation
Later, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video statement. In it, he said, “We are at a decisive moment in Israel’s history.” He explained that the mission targeted Iranian scientists, missile sites, and the Natanz plant.
He added, “This operation will continue for as many days as it takes to remove this threat.”

Defense Minister Israel Katz warned, “Following the pre-emptive strike by the State of Israel against Iran, a missile and UAV (drone) attack against the State of Israel and its civilian population is expected in the immediate time frame.”
