Rasha Thadani, daughter of Bollywood star Raveena Tandon, recently made her acting debut with Azaad. Reflecting on her journey, she credits her mother’s unique approach for keeping her grounded. “My Mom actually does it very beautifully because she'll never express pride in me," Rasha says. She believes this keeps her striving for improvement. “She very beautifully moulds me till date,” she adds.
Facing Challenges in Acting
Entering the film industry is never easy, especially in today’s unpredictable box office climate. However, Rasha remains optimistic. “Times are always changing and evolving,” she explains. She acknowledges that every phase brings its own difficulties. “You just have to do what you can and work hard. The rest is destiny,” she adds.
Adapting to Change
Moreover, Rasha believes that actors must stay flexible to meet audience expectations. She emphasizes, “You can’t just stop and wait for the right time. You have to keep working and evolving.” Instead of waiting for ideal circumstances, she focuses on adapting to industry trends.
Early Buzz Around Her Debut
As the daughter of a celebrated actor, Rasha faced conversations about her debut long before she entered the industry. Yet, she reveals she was largely shielded from the attention. “Even during school, I didn’t pay much attention to this side of the world,” she admits. Her decision to begin acting in grade 12 came as a leap of faith.
Learning as She Goes
When Rasha started working on her first film, she had little experience or knowledge of the film world. “When we began the film, I was a completely different person. I was so unaware,” she reflects. Since then, she has grown and gained clarity about her aspirations. “I always knew I wanted to do this. I just didn’t know when or how it would happen,” she says.
Overall, Rasha Thadani’s debut in Bollywood highlights her determination to grow and adapt. Guided by her mother’s wisdom and her own drive, she is ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities of her new journey.
