Hyderabad FC won 3-2 against Jamshedpur FC at the GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium in the Indian Super League 2024-25 season on Thursday. The home team scored first but conceded twice, leaving them trailing. However, they quickly responded in the second half, scoring two goals in quick succession to take all three points. Hyderabad FC had 54.1% of possession and registered four shots on target.
Hyderabad FC Takes an Early Lead
Hyderabad FC started strong, intensifying their attack from the beginning and pressing Jamshedpur FC right away. Muhammed Rafi scoring his first ISL goal in the 12th minute. After Manoj Mohammad made a precise pass on the left, Rafi powered the ball into the net.

Jamshedpur FC Strikes Back

However, Jamshedpur FC quickly responded. In the 24th minute, Javi Hernandez converted a penalty to equalize. Just three minutes later, Hernandez scored again from the spot, giving Jamshedpur FC a 2-1 lead.

Hyderabad FC Equalizes in the Second Half

The game turned intense in the second half. In the 69th minute, Joseph Sunny calmly slotted a shot into the top right corner, bringing the score to 2-2. Shortly after, Hyderabad FC seized the momentum. In the 74th minute, Andrei Alba scored a stunning goal from outside the box, securing a 3-2 win for his team.

Muhammed Rafi played a key role in the win. He completed 31 passes, made two crosses, and cleared three balls, in addition to scoring a crucial goal. Next, Hyderabad FC will face NorthEast United FC on January 29, while Jamshedpur FC will play Punjab FC on January 28.
