Actor Jacqueline Fernandez hurried to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after her mother, Kim Fernandez, was admitted to the ICU following a heart stroke. On Wednesday, paparazzi spotted Jacqueline arriving at the hospital entrance. She wore a white salwar kameez and covered her face with a black mask. As soon as she stepped out of the car, she quickly made her way inside.

Jacqueline Skips IPL Performance

Meanwhile, a source revealed that Jacqueline was originally scheduled to perform at the IPL ceremony last week. However, she decided to skip the event to stay with her mother. She was supposed to attend the match between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders in Guwahati on March 26. The source stated, “Jacqueline’s mother is still in the ICU recovering. As the family awaits further update from the doctors. In these challenging times, Jacqueline has chosen to be by her mother’s side, and unfortunately will be missing performing at the IPL ceremony.”

Salman Khan Pays a Visit

Moreover, on Sunday, Jacqueline’s Kick co-star Salman Khan was seen visiting the hospital to check on her mother and offer his support.

Jacqueline’s Film Career

Jacqueline made her Bollywood debut in 2009 with Aladin, where she starred opposite Riteish Deshmukh. Over the years, she appeared in several successful films, including Housefull 2, Murder 2, Kick, Brothers, Dishoom, and Judwaa 2. Additionally, her most recent release was Fateh, an action thriller where she starred alongside Sonu Sood. The movie, which premiered on JioHotstar, also marked Sonu Sood’s directorial debut.
