Actor Suniel Shetty has urged people to visit Kashmir for their next holiday to support tourism and show terrorists that "we are not afraid of them." He made this statement during the Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award 2025 ceremony. Moreover, he stressed that Kashmir belongs to India, now and always. He also called for unity among citizens.

In addition, Suniel asked citizens not to fall for fear and hatred. He said, "For us, service to humanity is service to God. The Almighty will see everything and respond. Right now, we need to stay united as Indians. We must not fall into the trap of those spreading fear and hatred. Instead, we must stay united. We need to show them that Kashmir was ours, is ours, and will always remain ours. That’s why the army, the leaders, and everyone are involved in this effort."

Furthermore, Suniel encouraged Indians to plan their next vacation in Kashmir. He said, “As citizens, we must decide that our next holiday will be in Kashmir, and nowhere else. We need to show them that we are not afraid. There is no fear.”

Additionally, Suniel mentioned that he called the authorities and is ready to visit Kashmir. He said, "I called them and said that if you want us to come there as tourists or artists, we will definitely come. The Kashmiri children are not at fault."
About the Pahalgam Attack
On April 22, terrorists attacked tourists at Baisaran meadow in Pahalgam, killing 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen. Several others were injured. In response, the central government held an all-party meeting to discuss the security situation and decide on a collective response.
