Diljit Dosanjh recently posted a funny video online. In it, he spoke in Punjabi and showed his MET Gala invitation. He held up the card in vedio and said, “I have received many wedding cards from relatives but this one is special.” Then, he read out the names of the guests and hosts on the invite.

After showing the card, Diljit gave fans a look at the goodies he received from the event organizers. Later, he posted again and asked fans for outfit ideas. He wrote, “MET Gala. Ki Paiye Fer” (What should I wear?).

He Read the Event Rules

In another part of the video, Diljit read a note attached to the invitation. It clearly said that mobile phones and recording devices were strictly not allowed inside the museum during the event.

Furthermore, the invitation shared the theme and dress code. It read, “Superfine: Tailoring black style. Monday, the Fifth of May, at half after five o’clock. Dress code: Tailored for you.”

Thanked the Organizers

In the final clip, Diljit thanked the organizers for sending champagne. However, he joked that since no one was around to drink it, it was just melting away. Still, he appreciated the organizers and said they took good care of the guests.

Meet the 2025 Co-Chairs

Once again, Anna Wintour leads the event. She has managed the MET Gala since 1995. This year, she joins a remarkable group of co-chairs.
