Amber Heard had exciting news to share on Mother’s Day. She revealed the arrival of her twins — a daughter named Agnes and a son named Ocean.
On Sunday, Amber posted a picture on Instagram. It showed the little ones' tiny feet. Along with the image, she wrote a heartfelt message. “This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I've strived to build for years,” she said. “Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang. My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full.”

Amber shared that she carefully chose motherhood. She explained, “Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life.” She added, “I couldn’t burst with more joy.”

Amber’s journey to motherhood started in 2021 with the birth of her first daughter, Oonagh. Reflecting on that time, she said, “When I had my first baby girl Oonagh four years ago, my world changed forever.” She continued, “I thought I couldn’t possibly burst with more joy. Well, now I am bursting times three!!!”

In her post, Amber expressed gratitude for all mothers. “To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you. Love always, A x,” she wrote.
Amber’s First Child and Surrogacy Journey
Amber became a mom in April 2021. She chose surrogacy for the birth of Oonagh. Afterward, she waited two months to share the news with the public. In June 2021, Amber explained her decision. “Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms.”
Empowering Women’s Choices
Amber also shared a powerful message about women’s choices. “I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way,” she said. “I hope we arrive at a point in which it's normalised to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”
Amber named her daughter Oonagh after her late mother. She described Oonagh as “the beginning of the rest of [her] life.”
