Trump told NBC News, “If he does, he’ll have to face the consequences,” and added, “He’ll have to face very serious consequences if he does that.”

In an upcoming interview with NBC News, Trump confirmed that his relationship with Musk is over. When asked if he wished to mend ties with Musk, he said, “No.” He also stated, “I would assume so, yeah,” when asked if the relationship was finished. Trump emphasized, “I’m too busy doing other things… I have no intention of speaking to him.”

Trump noted that Musk had contributed nearly $300 million to his re-election campaign last year. He used this fact to caution Musk against switching political allegiance.
