Budget Speculation Raises Eyebrows

Despite buzz about the ₹835 crore budget, an industry insider told Bollywood Hungama, “These are inflated figures used to create hype. Realistically, the producers are aiming for a budget between ₹500–₹550 crore.” The source warned, “Spending more could harm the project. The makers want a grand film, but also need to recover the cost.”

A Balanced Approach

The team behind Ramayana wants to deliver a visually rich film without taking financial risks. They hope to strike a balance between ambition and practicality while bringing the epic to life.
