Truth Social Crashes After Trump Reveals Strikes on Iran Nuclear Sites
Trump's announcement of U.S. airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear sites caused Truth Social to crash, while Iran remains silent after issuing earlier warnings.

Truth Social, Donald Trump’s social media platform, suddenly went down across the United States on Saturday evening. According to DownDetector, the platform received over 1,700 outage reports by 8:20 p.m. EDT. Many users reported problems accessing both the app and the website.

Significantly, this disruption came just minutes after Trump posted a dramatic update about U.S. military action in Iran.

Trump Announces Attack on Iran's Nuclear Sites

In a Truth Social post, Trump revealed that the United States had launched airstrikes on Iran’s key nuclear facilities.

He wrote, “We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home."

Then, he praised the U.S. military by adding, “Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

In another brief post, Trump declared, “Fordow is gone,” referring to the underground nuclear site located near Natanz.

B-2 Bombers Took Part in the Strikes

Earlier that day, the U.S. had deployed B-2 bombers to Guam. Later, a U.S. official confirmed to Reuters that those B-2 bombers participated in the strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites. So far, there is no official confirmation about whether Israeli forces were involved in this attack.

Iran Has Not Yet Responded Publicly

As of now, Iran has not issued any formal response to the reported airstrikes. However, this development came after strong warnings from Iran earlier in the week.

Iran Had Warned the U.S. Before the Attack

Just days before the bombing, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had warned the United States. He said that any military action would “result in irreparable damage for them.”

Likewise, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei had said, “any American intervention would be a recipe for an all-out war in the region.”
