Araghchi Heads to Moscow as Iran Condemns US Attack
Iran’s foreign minister plans to meet Putin as tensions rise after US strikes, calling it a breach of international law and a threat to regional stability.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi announced that he plans to travel to Moscow to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin. He said the meeting would take place on Monday, following the US airstrikes on three of Iran’s nuclear sites on Sunday.

Iran Condemns US Actions, Calls It a Serious Violation

Araghchi criticized the United States for launching the strikes, saying it had violated international law. He accused Washington of crossing a serious boundary by targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities.

“They only understand the language of threat and force,” he said, describing the US response as aggressive and unlawful. He warned that the attack had crossed a “very big red line.”

Iran Keeps All Options Open

During his visit to Turkey, Araghchi said Iran would take any step necessary to protect its national interests. He declared that Tehran reserves all possible options to defend its people, territory, and security.

He told reporters that Iran’s military was now on full alert, showing that the country was preparing for any possible escalation.

Russia Reacts Strongly, Accuses Trump of Starting a New War

In Russia, top officials also reacted sharply to the US attack. Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, openly criticized President Donald Trump for launching the strikes.

In a message posted on his Telegram channel, Medvedev wrote, “Trump, who came in as a peacemaker president, has started a new war for the US,” and added, “with this kind of success, Trump won’t win the Nobel Peace Prize.”
