Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, and three others rushed her to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital, but she was declared dead on arrival.
The news of her sudden death was first reported by journalist Vickey Lalwani on social media. In his post, he wrote, “Shefali Jariwala, the Kaanta Laga girl, is no more. The reason of her death is not known yet to this journalist, but I can confirm that she was brought dead to Bellevue Multispeciality hospital (opposite Star Bazaar Andheri) about 45 minutes prior to this post.”

So far, Parag Tyagi has not made a public statement or confirmed his wife's death. While the exact cause is not confirmed, some sources suggest that Shefali may have suffered a cardiac arrest. The police and doctors have not released an official cause yet.
A Mumbai Police official said, “Actress Shefali Jariwala has passed away at the age of 42. Her body was found at her residence in the Andheri area of Mumbai.”
