Selena Gomez is ready to cast spells again. She will appear in Season 2 of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. The original show, Wizards of Waverly Place, aired from 2007 to 2012.
Selena Confirms Comeback
Selena made a surprise announcement before the official reveal. She posted a behind-the-scenes photo holding Alex Russo’s famous red wand. This instantly thrilled fans.
Soon after, Selena shared another heartwarming photo. In it, she rested her head on co-star David Henrie’s shoulder. Then, she posted an old image where they struck the same pose in the original series. David added to the excitement with his caption: "WE’RE SO BACK. Season 2 is gonna be. If you had big questions about season 1, then strap in y’all."

Selena Plays a Key Role in Season 2
Selena won’t be in every episode. However, her presence will be important. She will help connect the old characters with the new ones. In Season 1, she appeared in the first and final episodes. Meanwhile, she also works behind the scenes as an executive producer along with Henrie.
Storyline of Season 2
The new season will follow an older Justin Russo. He now lives a normal life with his family. But things change when his sister Alex brings a young wizard, Billie, to him for help.
According to the official synopsis: "The series follows an adult Justin Russo, who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada, Roman and Milo. When Justin’s sister Alex brings Billie to his home seeking help, Justin realises he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World."
