With appearances in reality shows like The Traitors and now in Dharma Productions’ Nadaaniyan, she has sparked attention from audiences and critics alike. In an interview, Apoorva reflected on her journey, especially working with co-star Khushi Kapoor.

Praise for Khushi Kapoor’s Dedication

Apoorva had high praise for Khushi, describing her as kind and extremely hardworking. “Khushi is one of the sweetest people I have met. She has an insane work ethic,” Apoorva shared. She recalled how Khushi openly expressed her hope that Nadaaniyan would help her gain serious recognition in the industry. Apoorva admired that drive. “There are people who really want something; she is one of those people,” she said, adding that Khushi “deserves it” because she “works hard for it.”

Even after shooting for long hours, sometimes up to 16 hours a day, Apoorva said Khushi never skipped the gym. This discipline left a strong impression. “What I picked up from her was work ethic,” she added.

Handling Mixed Reactions with Maturity

While Nadaaniyan received a mixed response from viewers, Apoorva praised Khushi’s reaction to criticism. She emphasized that professionalism matters more than just results. “Even if the end product or result might not be what you want, everybody you work with should say that you are a great person,” she said, adding that she and Khushi still keep in touch over WhatsApp.

Addressing the Online Comparisons

Apoorva also addressed the online comparisons between her and Khushi, which have triggered debates on nepotism. She didn’t hold back. “I think it’s a bias more than anything else. Khushi did great work in the film,” she stated. She acknowledged the public’s harsh treatment of star kids and stressed the need for kindness. “We don’t need to put down somebody else to make another one feel better,” she said. “The comments about how I performed better than her… we don’t need to do all this.”

Bond with Ibrahim Ali Khan

Beyond her professional collaborations, Apoorva also spoke about her friendship with Ibrahim Ali Khan. “Ibrahim and I have met quite a lot, and we chill often,” she confirmed.
