Novak Djokovic Marks 100th Wimbledon Victory, Aims for 25th Slam
Novak Djokovic reached his 100th Wimbledon win with a commanding victory over Miomir Kecmanovic, joining tennis greats Roger Federer and Martina Navratilova in the history books.

Tennis legend Novak Djokovic has achieved another major milestone. He secured his 100th career win at Wimbledon, becoming only the second man and third player in history to do so. The Serbian star reached this landmark by defeating fellow countryman Miomir Kecmanovic in the third round of the tournament.

A Dominant Display on Centre Court

Djokovic showed complete control over the match. From 3-3 in the first set, he won nine games in a row, not giving his opponent any chance. He won the second set without losing a game and quickly took a 2-0 lead in the third set.

He led 5-1 in the final set, but Kecmanovic fought back briefly, winning three games in a row. However, Djokovic quickly regained focus and finished the match 6-3, 6-0, 6-4.

Only Three Players Have Done It Before

With this win, Djokovic has joined an elite club. He is now:

  • The second male player to win 100 Wimbledon matches (after Roger Federer)

  • The third player overall, including Martina Navratilova, who holds the record with 120 Wimbledon wins

After the match, Djokovic said, "Any history that I make in my favourite tournament, I'm blessed."

Djokovic Eyes 25th Grand Slam Title

Djokovic is now chasing his 25th Grand Slam title, which would break the current record he shares with Margaret Court. If he wins at Wimbledon this year, it will be his eighth title at the All England Club, tying him with Roger Federer, who holds the most men's Wimbledon titles.

His next opponent is 11th seed Alex de Minaur in the round of 16. If he wins, Djokovic could face World No.1 Jannik Sinner in a highly anticipated semifinal clash.

Wimbledon Legends’ Record Stats

  • Martina Navratilova: 120 wins at Wimbledon (9-time women’s singles champion)

  • Roger Federer: 105 wins at Wimbledon (8-time men’s singles champion)

  • Novak Djokovic: 100 wins and counting
