Hathaway Returns in 'The Devil Wears Prada 2'
Anne Hathaway will soon return as Andy Sachs in The Devil Wears Prada 2. Disney’s 20th Century Studios has confirmed the film is in production. Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci will also return. Kenneth Branagh joins the cast as Miranda Priestly’s husband.
Disney teased the sequel on Instagram with a short clip showing two red high heels. It was a nod to the film’s iconic fashion style.
What’s the New Story?
The plot is still under wraps. However, reports say Miranda Priestly will face big challenges. The fashion world is changing, and she must fight to stay on top. She also has to deal with Blunt’s character, now a powerful luxury executive who controls key advertising money.
Hathaway’s role is still unclear. At the end of the first film, Andy Sachs left Runway magazine for a newspaper job. Fans are waiting to see how she returns to the story.
Director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna are also back. They promise to bring the same energy and style as the first film.
