She announced that the first song from her upcoming film The Girlfriend will release soon. Titled HuiRe, the song will be out on July 16 in five languages. Earlier in December 2024, the teaser of The Girlfriend was released. The film, described as a romantic drama, is produced by GA2 Pictures, Mass Movie Makers, and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment. The teaser focused on Rashmika’s character’s college days. It showed glimpses of her love story and the problems she faces with her boyfriend, played by Dheekshith Shetty. However, the film’s full story is still under wraps.
Rashmika Surprises with Fierce Look in Mysaa
Apart from The Girlfriend, Rashmika surprised fans by announcing her next film, Mysaa. She revealed the first-look poster on Instagram. Interestingly, Rashmika shared that this role represents a side of herself she never saw before. In the poster, she appears fierce. Half her face is covered, and blood marks are visible on her skin. She wears a traditional saree paired with tribal jewellery and a moon-shaped bindi. Therefore, her look suggests her character is both raw and powerful.
