The fan, later identified as McKenna, had been invited to join Perry on stage. However, just moments later, she collapsed. Perry immediately stopped the music and asked for medical help.

As paramedics came in, Katy tried to lift the audience’s spirits. She said, “McKenna’s doing great by the way,” reassuring fans before continuing the concert. A video of the moment went viral, and many praised Perry for staying calm and kind under pressure.

Perry also reflected on the moment. She shared, “Sometimes you’re so brave and you can get on stage, and it’s overwhelming. I understand that feeling.” Once McKenna received proper care, the concert continued as planned. Perry’s tour began in Mexico City. The next stop is Toronto.
