Anaya Bangar, daughter of former India cricketer and coach Sanjay Bangar, is preparing to enter a new chapter in her life by joining Bigg Boss 19. She has already made a name for herself as a transgender athlete, graphic designer, actor, and LGBTQ+ advocate. Over the years, Anaya has openly shared her transformation journey, highlighting the challenges she faced and inspiring countless others.

Bigg Boss 19 Appearance

According to ETimes, Anaya is expected to be part of the contestant lineup for Bigg Boss 19, which premieres on August 24. The show’s makers have not yet confirmed her participation officially.

Speculation suggests that as a contestant, Anaya may use this platform to highlight her journey as an aspiring cricketer and the struggles she has faced as a transgender athlete trying to break barriers in sports.

Transgender Athlete Breaking Barriers

Earlier, Anaya made headlines when she revealed via social media that she is now eligible to play women’s cricket. She shared a scientific report documenting her transition and proving her eligibility through structured physiological assessments after starting hormone therapy.

“For the first time, I’m sharing the scientific report that documents my journey as a trans woman athlete. Over the past year, I’ve undergone structured physiological assessments after starting hormone therapy. This report captures the real, measurable impact of my transition, not opinions, not assumptions, but data,” Anaya said in a video.

She added, “I’m submitting this to the BCCI and ICC, with full transparency and hope. My only intention is to start a conversation based on facts, not fear. To build space, not divide it. Whether you agree or not, thank you for witnessing.”

Inspiring Journey

Anaya’s story is a symbol of courage and determination. Through her efforts, she continues to challenge stereotypes and create awareness for the LGBTQ+ community, while pursuing her passion for cricket and entertainment.
