Actor Malvika Raaj, remembered for her role as young Poo in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), and her husband Pranav Bagga have stepped into parenthood. The couple welcomed a baby girl on August 23.
Announcement of the Baby’s Arrival
The happy news came on Sunday evening when Malvika and Pranav shared a joint post on social media. They posted a pink-themed announcement decorated with balloons, revealing the birth date of their daughter. The message on the poster read, "Pink bows, tiny toes and a love that overflows. Welcome to the world baby girl. 23.08.2025. Malvika And Pranav."
Along with the poster, the couple wrote, "From our Hearts to our Arms, Our Baby Girl is Here 🩷🌍 #babygirl #ourworld #babybagga." Soon after, the comment section was filled with warm wishes from fans, friends, and family.

Their Journey Together
Malvika and Pranav share a long bond of more than ten years. After dating for a decade, Pranav proposed in Cappadocia, Turkey, in August 2023, with hot air balloons in the backdrop. The two tied the knot in November that same year in a beautiful beachside wedding in Goa.
In May 2025, Malvika announced her pregnancy through a post showing a pregnancy kit. A couple of months later, in July, she enjoyed a Mary Poppins-themed baby shower with close family and friends.
Malvika’s Career Highlights
Malvika became a household name in 2001 when she played the younger version of Kareena Kapoor’s iconic character Pooja in Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. After the film, she took a long break from acting to complete her education.
Sixteen years later, she returned to the screen with the Telugu film Jayadev (2017). She later entered Bollywood with Squad (2021), an action thriller directed by Nilesh Sahay that streamed on ZEE5. Most recently, in 2024, she appeared in the crime thriller series Swipe Crime on MX Player.
