Musk Rejects Claims of Ties to Jeffrey Epstein With Three-Word Response
Elon Musk denies any connection to Jeffrey Epstein after newly released files link him to a possible 2014 island visit.

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk firmly denied any connection to Jeffrey Epstein after his name appeared in newly released documents. These files also mentioned PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel and former Trump White House adviser Steve Bannon.

The U.S. House Oversight Committee is investigating whether federal officials mishandled Epstein’s case. Meanwhile, Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime associate, is serving a 20-year prison sentence for recruiting underage girls.

In response to the reports, Musk wrote a brief, three-word statement: “This is false.”

Musk Denies Claims After Reports

Recently, the third batch of files revealed details about Epstein’s travel plans and meeting notes. Notably, one entry suggested Musk might visit Epstein’s private island in December 2014.

Consequently, a user on X, formerly known as Twitter, criticized media outlets for linking Musk to Epstein. The user argued that Musk was being targeted because of his outspoken stance on corruption and free speech.

In reply, Musk simply stated: “This is false.”

Musk Says He Refused Epstein’s Invitations

Previously, Musk has repeatedly distanced himself from Epstein. He said Epstein “tried repeatedly” to invite him to the island, yet he declined every time.

Importantly, Epstein died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, which intensified scrutiny around his network.

8,544 Files Released by Justice Department

Furthermore, the Justice Department released 8,544 documents following an August subpoena. These files were partially redacted to protect the identities of victims.

The newly released records included Epstein’s itineraries, notes, and meeting logs with business and tech leaders.

Other High-Profile Figures Named

In addition, the files detailed several of Epstein’s other meetings:

  • He met Steve Bannon in 2019.

  • He met Peter Thiel in 2017.

  • He planned a breakfast with Bill Gates in 2014.

Interestingly, a note about Musk read: “Is this still happening?” referring to a possible December 2014 visit.

Investigation Remains Ongoing

As the investigation continues, lawmakers are reviewing the documents to determine whether the federal government mishandled Epstein’s case.

Moreover, they have pledged to safeguard the identities of victims while uncovering the truth about Epstein’s extensive network.
