The AI Impact Summit began on Monday at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi and will continue from February 16 to 20. Reports highlight the massive scale and strong global participation at this major technology gathering in the national capital.
Alongside the summit, organisers launched the India AI Impact Expo 2026. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology is organising the expo, while the Software Technology Parks of India is serving as the custodian. The expo offers an interactive and practical showcase that supports the summit’s goals.
According to the official website, “The summit makes way for a technological revolution that would open unprecedented opportunities for advancements across every domain of human endeavor.”
Expo spreads across massive venue
Organisers have arranged the India AI Impact Expo 2026 across 10 arenas inside Bharat Mandapam. Together, these spaces cover more than 70,000 square metres. As a result, the venue has turned into one of the largest AI exhibition areas in the region.
The event brings together global technology companies, startups, academic institutions, research organisations, government ministries, and international partners. Through this platform, participants can share ideas, present innovations, and build partnerships.
International pavilions highlight global cooperation
Officials have set up 13 country pavilions to showcase global collaboration in artificial intelligence. These pavilions represent Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, and several African nations.
Each country will present its AI developments, policy efforts, and research progress. Therefore, visitors will get a wider understanding of how different nations are advancing in the AI space.
Organisers expect over 2.5 lakh visitors
The expo is expected to attract more than 2.5 lakh visitors. These include international delegates, industry experts, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and students. As a result, the venue is likely to remain crowded throughout the event.
Packed agenda with hundreds of sessions
The summit features a detailed and busy schedule. Organisers have planned more than 500 sessions over the four days. These sessions include keynote speeches, policy discussions, and expert roundtables.
More than 3,250 speakers and panellists will take part in these sessions. They will share insights, discuss future policies, and explore how artificial intelligence can shape different sectors. Through these discussions, the summit aims to drive global progress in AI development.
