Amid circulating rumours about the alleged assassination of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Sunday issued a strong warning against the Israeli prime minister.
In a statement published on its official website Sepah News, the Iranian military force said it would continue to pursue Netanyahu. The IRGC described the Israeli leader as a “child-killing criminal” and vowed to target him if he remains alive.
IRGC Says It Will ‘Pursue and Kill’ Netanyahu
The Iranian force issued a direct threat in its statement, saying it would not stop its efforts against the Israeli prime minister. "If this child-killing criminal is alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force," the Guards said. The remarks reflect the growing hostility between Iran and Israel as tensions remain high across the region.
Israel Earlier Denied Assassination Rumours
The threat came just hours after the Israeli prime minister’s office rejected rumours circulating on social media that Netanyahu had been assassinated. Officials clarified that the claims were false and confirmed that the Israeli leader was safe. The office stated that the reports were inaccurate and assured that the prime minister was “fine.”
Rising Tensions in the Region
The exchange of threats comes as tensions between Iran and Israel continue to intensify amid the broader regional conflict. The situation has already triggered military strikes and retaliatory attacks across several parts of the Middle East, raising fears of further escalation. Netanyahu remains one of the central figures in the conflict as hostilities between the two countries continue.
