Dercksen Finishes the Job

She built a key 52-run partnership with Wolvaardt and ensured South Africa remained on track. Later, she handled the pressure well and guided the team home.
India’s Fielding and Extras Cost Them
India will be concerned about their fielding performance. They conceded 14 wides, which is their second-highest in T20Is. In addition, they dropped crucial catches towards the end. These errors allowed South Africa to stay in control during the chase.
At one stage, South Africa needed 16 runs from 18 balls. Despite some risky shots, India failed to take chances. They also faced an over-rate penalty, which forced them to keep an extra fielder inside the circle in the final over.
